July 15th @ 7:00PM: Parent Blessing- Each parent chooses a Bible verse they think would be meaningful for their student for the trip and picks an item to put it on. In the past, people have sent the verse on a pillowcase, water bottle, journal, or a piece of jewelry etc. You'll share the verse you picked and why and present your student with their gift. We'll then have a time of prayer for our students and the group. If you're a young adult going on the trip you can have your parent or someone else important in your life do this. Your student will also bring their packed bag and all their items for the trip to this meeting, except items they plan to keep with them during the drive i.e wallet, etc. We have very limited space, so students need to pack light.
